Gorillaz
Gorillaz x Animal Crossing concert
As a further reminder that Gorillaz is to some extend the 'original virtual band', creators Damon Albarn and Jamie Hewlett performed alongside Beck from inside Animal Crossing. The virtual avatars sat down for an interview and took the stage as musical guests for 'Animal Talking', Gary Whitta's talk show held entirely inside the game. Gorillaz earlier announced 'Song Machine Live', a series of live-streamed concerts and first live performances since 2018.
