Greenpeace is trying to raise awareness about environmental issues within the popular video game Grand Theft Auto in the hopes of hitting home the urgency of the impending disaster. Los Santos, which is arguably one of the most well-known cities in the gaming world, has been altered to showcase the real-world effects that climate change could have. Gamers were able to explore the 'Los Santos +3ºC' altered map and witness the submergence of the Santa Monica pier, displacement of residents and the disappearance of the California coast.
