IKEA

Skyrim players have complained about inventory limits for fifteen years. IKEA answered with a shelf. KALLAX Storageborn is a free official Creation for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim in which the flatpack unit becomes a companion character, voiced by Matt Berry with full booming gravitas, summoned by a Dragon Shout and offering unlimited storage, automatic loot collection and a tidier home. Made by Mother with modder Kinggath Creations and released through Bethesda's own Creations menu on 9 September 2026, it is the rare brand mod built by people who clearly play the game: the joke lands because the pain point is real, and the product does exactly what it does in real life, only in Whiterun. IKEA's framing is 'Democratic Design' extended into the digital world; players' framing is that the shelf has better lines than most NPCs.
