Ballantine's

Ballantine's Scotch whisky is partnering with shooter franchise Borderlands to release a limited-edition bottle featuring a star character of the series: bar owner Mad Moxxi. Those who cop the bottle will be able to unlock exclusive in-game content. A short-film, created within the Borderlands' game engine, was also released to promote the partnership. This should be the first activity in a long-term collaboration, as the brand appointed Moxxi as its 'Chief Galactic Expansion Officer', in charge of taking Ballantine's to new virtual frontiers.
