CORE, the construction kit that wants to make accessible building your own game world in Unreal, partnered with deadmau5 to make a splash in the mainstream. The DJ superstar challenged his fans to build the best dystopian virtual world, for a chance to be featured in his latest music video, among other prizes. Deadmau also launched his own virtual world 'Oberhasli' with a live concert. The evolution from one-off music events (Travis Scott etc.) to more persistent artist worlds seems one to watch for in the next months.
