Music streaming platform Spotify launched its own branded world in Roblox. It consists of a main island surrounded by smaller isles that players can explore to complete quests, unlock exclusive content, create sounds with a virtual beat-maker, and cop digital merch. Merch includes Spotify-themed cosmetics but also artist merchandise, which will serve as an additional revenue stream for creators. The streaming giant lets artists keep a portion of those sales (less Roblox's cut) and offers to help with digital fashion design, if need be.
